Group tennis lessons for adults in Brentwood.

Small groups organised by level, so you are always hitting with people you can genuinely rally with. The sociable end of the schedule — and the friendliest way to find a regular hitting partner.

What a session looks like

The hour, start to finish

  1. 01

A short warm-up rally so everybody finds their timing.

  2. 02

One theme for the session — crosscourt depth, approach and volley, serve and return — drilled in pairs.

  3. 03

Point play built around that theme, so the drill has somewhere to go.

  4. 04

Ten minutes of games at the end. Nobody keeps a ladder.

Who it's for

Adults from true beginner upward, grouped so the level is honest. If you are not sure where you sit, tell me what you can and cannot do yet and I will place you — nobody gets dropped into a group that is over their head.

Group size

Typically 3–5 players.

Level

Beginner, improver and intermediate groups.

Best for

Meeting other players and keeping the cost per hour down.

Questions

Group lessons, answered

Call or text
What if I am the weakest player in the group?

You will not be — groups are set by level, and I move people between them as they improve. Everybody in a beginner group is genuinely a beginner.

Can I join a group with a friend?

Yes, and it is a good way to start. Bring one or two people and I will build a group around you.

How many people are in a group lesson?

Usually three to five. Small enough that you are hitting most of the hour.
